Begin your Journey of Lent with a Church-Wide Worship and Study

of the 24 Hours That Changed the World!

March 10 - April 21

What does Jesus’ death and the events that led up to the cross mean to you?  The last 24 hours of Jesus’ life is an essential part of our faith.  In it we find fear, conflict and pain alongside love, forgiveness, and hope.

During the season of Lent, you are invited to join with the whole church in examining the events of this fateful day and reflecting on our part in the story and our deepest needs for grace.

Plan to Attend Worship and Join a Weekly Small Group

From March 10 – April 21, hear a worship message from the Gospel
of Mark 14-15, and join a small group that will meet weekly for a
10 minute video from the Jerusalem, group discussion and prayer.

What we believe...

The people who worship and serve together at Chesterton United Methodist Church believe God's love is for everyone.

We believe in the power of forgiveness.

We believe Jesus' life, death and victory over death

is a triumph for every human being who chooses to accept Jesus' commitment to individual redemption.

We believe every life has the possibility of salvation and new hope.  We believe God goes with each of us in Spirit.

We believe by living our beliefs, together we can make

a difference in our community.

We believe God is with you.
