What we believe...

The people who worship and serve together at Chesterton United Methodist Church believe God's love is for everyone.

We believe in the power of forgiveness.

We believe Jesus' life, death and victory over death

is a triumph for every human being who chooses to accept Jesus' commitment to individual redemption.

We believe every life has the possibility of salvation and new hope.  We believe God goes with each of us in Spirit.

We believe by living our beliefs, together we can make

a difference in our community.

We believe God is with you.

A message from our pastor

Welcome and thank you for taking time to get to know us better.

Chesterton United Methodist Chuch has been a mainstay of this community for more than 155 years.  In fact, a while back when this church had the opportunity to move out of the downtown area and build a new church closer to where new housing was emerging, they overwhelmingly voted to stay near downtown.  The people who worship here are committed to making a difference in Chesterton and want to be a visible and effective presence

for good in our town.

When you spend time with us, you'll discover we practice loving our neighbors by going into the community to serve and help wherever we are led.  We also hold one another to high standards for sharing the truth of a loving, forgiving God with our friends and neighbors. We do this because we believe every individual has value and worth.

If you've never visited us before, we hope you'll stop in.  Get to know us.

And join us as we seek to live lives walking with God.

May God bless you today, and every day.
