MY KIDS

Chesterton United Methodist Church welcomes children of all ages to experience God’s love with interactive activities and stories. Whether it is on a Sunday morning, or anytime children gather, they will grow in faith and discover they are a blessing to the world. Any parent or guardian is welcome to visit the children’s area to experience, along with the child, our exciting faith-filled activities. Nursery care is available upon request for children infants to 3 years old.

Where are you located?

The church is located in Chesterton, IN and the address is 434 South Second Street. We are on the corner of Porter Avenue and Second Street. We love being a church that serves the Duneland area.

What time is service?

We have two worship services on Sunday mornings that meet in-person. A 9:00 Contemporary Service which is also Live streamed on our YouTube Channel. A 10:30 Traditional Service which is recorded and then uploaded by Monday evenings to YouTube. Each service lasts about an hour. Whichever time is best for you, we can't wait to meet you!

What do I wear?

Chesterton United Methodist Church is a church for everyone. We encourage people to come as they are and dress in what feels most comfortable.

Is there something for my kids?

At Chesterton United Methodist Church we love kids! From infants to pre-teens, we have done our best to help your children have fun while learning about Jesus. We have created a fun and safe environment for them. All teachers and helpers go through an annual background screening.

It's important for me to be a part of Chesterton United Methodist Church because the message that I hear on Sundays helps me to be a better person. Every week I am able to take something that I've heard in Pastor Heather's sermon and apply it to my life.

CUMC has helped me to grow in my relationship with Jesus by offering me small classes and special series to connect more with Jesus. This in turn has made me want to start reading a daily devotional and to be in conversation with Jesus.
